An elegant and practical scarf for chilly days. You will love to wear it. It is easy and fun to crochet it.

Materials needed:
Crochet hook: 4 mm
Yarn: 100 g for scarf; 30-40 g for gloves.

Finished measurements:
Scarf: the length has approx 165 cm; the width has approx 14 cm.
Gloves: the length has approx 15 cm; hand circumference: 19-20 cm.

The numbers of the chains could be increase or decrease, according to your need, but it must be multiply with 3 plus 4 chains.

The foundation:
31 chains.
(1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc) in 5th chain from the hook, *skip 2 chains, (1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc) in next chain; repeat from* until the last 2 chains, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in last ch; turn.

R1 (the model of V-stitch):
3 ch, skip 2 dc, *(1dc, 1ch, 1dc) in next chain space, skip 2 dc, repeat from * until the end of the row finished with 1 dc on top of the 3rd ch from the beginning of previous round; turn.

Now continue with the model of bobble stitch, plus 1 round of single crochet.

R2 (the bobble stitch model):
1 ch, 1 sc next dc, *1 group of 5 dc in next chain space, 1 sc in next 2 dc,  1 sc in next chain space, 1 sc in next 2 dc (=5 sc); repeat from * until the last V-stitch; finished with 1 sc in next dc and 1 sc on top of the 3rd ch from the beginning of previous round (5 bobbles; 23sc); turn.
R3:
1 ch, 1 sc on every sc and every group of dc; turn

Now you have to alternate the V-stitch with the bobble stitch model, like this:
- 2 rounds of V-stitch model
- repeat R2&R3 twice
- 2 rounds of V-stitch model
- repeat R2&R3 thrice
 - 2 rounds of V-stitch model
- repeat R2&R3 four times
- 2 rounds of V-stitch model
- repeat R2&R3 five times

Continue to work V-stitch model until the scarf measurement approx 145 cm or desire length.

Now you have to alternate again the V-stitch with the bobble stitch model, but reversed (double check that the bobbles that follows to crochet to be on the same side like those crocheted on the beginning of the scarf):
- 2 rounds of V-stitch model
- repeat R2&R3 five times
- 2 rounds of V-stitch model
- repeat R2&R3 four time
 - 2 rounds of V-stitch model
- repeat R2&R3 thrice
- 2 rounds of V-stitch model
- repeat R2&R3 twice
- 2 rounds of V-stitch model
- repeat R2&R3 once

Finished with 2 rounds of V-stitch model.
Fasten off, weave in ends.

The edge:
crochet picots at both edge or make some fringe, as your desire.
For picots: *3 chains, 1 slip stitch on first chain, 3 single crochet on next chains; repeat from * until the end of the round.

The gloves:

As you seen on the picture above, I crocheted some cloves according with this model.
The gloves were crocheted as I described below.

Note:
Turn at the end of each round. Do not join.
Remember that for the palms it is not necessary to crochet bobbles, crochet only V-st or sc, according to pattern.

Begin with 37 chains and work in the same way as for scarf.
Next crochet the foundation round and 1 row of V-stitch model.

Continue like this:

- repeat R2&R3 described on scarf for five times
- 2 rounds of V-stitch mode (on first round of V-st let a space for the thumb, at the beginning of the row for right hand: 3 ch, <1 dc, 1ch, 1 dc>  on 3rd sc, 5 chains, <1 dc, 1ch, 1 dc> on 6th sc, continue with V-st; at the end of the row for left hand: 5 chains, skip 5 ch,  <1 dc, 1ch, 1 dc> on next sc, skip 2 sc, <1 dc, 1ch, 1 dc>, dc on last sc )
- repeat R2&R3 described on scarf for three times
- 2 rounds of V-stitch mode

Finished with a row of picots.

Fasten off, weave in ends.
Sew the sides of each glove.

I hope you will enjoy this model of V-Stitch and Bobble! :)
